The summer vacations have begun and the vacation program of the city of Traunreut has also started and offers exciting and varied activities for the children and young people of the area during the vacation season.

Also in DASMAXIMUM we offer this year again two KunstBegegnungen in the context of the Traunreuter vacation program:

Thursday, Aug. 18, 10 a.m:
"I see, I see what you don't see" - KunstBegegnung for children on Andy Warhol.
Almost everyone knows the world-famous artist Andy Warhol. In the DASMAXIMUM museum alone, more than 20 of his works are on display. Reason enough to take a closer look. Who actually was Andy Warhol and what do his pop paintings have to do with "hide and seek"? What role does chance play and how does Andy Warhol paint his pictures at all, or does he not paint them at all? We let Warhol's drawings inspire us to our own drawing experiments. At the end, we will fortify ourselves with a snack together.
For children from 7-11 years.

Wednesday, Sept. 7, 10 a.m:
"Colorful, colorful, colorful are all my colors" KunstBegegnung for children to Blinky Palermo.
The German painter Blinky Palermo was a master of color. He experimented with overpainting and juxtaposing areas of color to create entirely new colors. For him, the painting did not end at the edge of the picture either. He included the whole wall and the whole room. The blue triangle above the door thus became his trademark. We take it as a starting point to explore the relationship between geometric forms, surface and space. We will also ask ourselves how Palermo managed to translate a concrete place - such as an amusement park - into color surfaces. At the end, we will fortify ourselves with a shared snack.
For teenagers from 10-15 years.
