At Thursday, the July 18 we cordially invite you to the Summer party at DASMAXIMUM to Traunreut. From 17:00 to 21:00 visitors have the opportunity to enjoy the sunset in the special ambience of the museum and enjoy a diverse program to linger on the spacious grounds. The Food truck "Da Schellnberger on wheels" provides cool drinks and summery food. Admission and all program items are free.
As part of the summer festival, the Closing event of our new inclusive art education project kunstBEWEGT kunstBEWEGT approaches works of art in museums through movement and dance and is primarily aimed at social institutions. It is led by dance educators Andrea Marton and Ute Schmitt, who work with well-known museums in Munich such as the Lenbachhaus and the Haus der Kunst. The museum team has now succeeded in bringing the two of them to DASMAXIMUM in Traunreut. Six closed workshops will be held throughout the week, taking the dynamics of form and color in Imi Knoebel's large-format artworks as their starting point. At the end of the workshop series, all interested parties and previous participants have the opportunity to attend a open workshop with Andrea Marton and Ute Schmitt in Traunreut to experience. Movements to John Chamberlain's large outdoor sculpture "Burnt Piano" will be explored together. A tour of the museum's artistic highlights rounds off the summer festival program.
