Vacation program on the artist John Chamberlain

I'm sure you've kneaded dough before, right? But did you know that you can not only knead with plasticine, but also shape the craziest materials? The American artist John Chamberlain (1927-2011) preferred to knead with the material "car sheet metal" - some might also say "scrap metal". But what he made from it is anything but "scrap". His sculptures have names such as "Grandma's Hat" or "Burnt Piano". In the end, the artist was concerned with one thing: deforming and creating beautiful things. With material, with words, or with light. Together we will embark on a journey of "deformation" and, of course, get creative ourselves. After the workshop, we will enjoy a snack together.

The offer is aimed at children aged 7-10.
The participation fee (incl. snack) is 2€/per child.
Registration takes place via the vacation program portal of the city of Traunreut: traunreut.feripro.de
Meeting point shortly before 10 a.m. at the museum ticket office.
