"Museum for All" is back! Following the success of last year's event series, the joint project of Kreissparkasse Traunstein Trostberg and the DASMAXIMUM museum is entering its second round. As part of "Museum for All", four events from fall 2024 to summer 2025 invite you to get to know the art at DASMAXIMUM with free admission and a wide range of offers. "Museum for All" aims to make contemporary art accessible to a wide audience in an uncomplicated and spontaneous way.
"Museum for All" starts on Sunday, October 13, 2024 with free admission and a program for Sunday shopping in Traunreut. In keeping with the theme, everything revolves around Pop Art and the artist Andy Warhol as its most famous representative.
Two program points provide the opportunity to get to know Warhol's work better: At 12:00, museum director Dr. Maria Schindelegger will give an introduction to Andy Warhol's life and art. She will explain the background to Pop Art and present some of the exhibited works of art in more detail.
At 14:00, an art encounter for children is dedicated to Andy Warhol. Together with a museum employee, the children will explore the process of creating his paintings and experiment with Warhol's preference for duplications and copies. The program is aimed at children between the ages of 7 and 11 and lasts approximately one hour.
