The exhibition and lecture program "Centre of Reaction", which was created in cooperation with Hubert Burda Media, is coming to an end with a guided tour of the work of Uwe Lausen and Heide Stolz on 18 August.
Uwe Lausen was one of the most important Pop Art artists in Germany, while his wife Heide Stolz was a talented and promising photographer. The couple worked closely together and clearly influenced each other in their choice of motifs and themes, which were characterized by provocation against the cultural and social establishment, violence and staged reality. Both Munich and the Chiemgau region were the center of their lives for many years.
Since July, prints by Uwe Lausen from the Hubert Burda collection and large-format pigment prints by Heide Stolz from the DASMAXIMUM museum collection have been on display at Hubert Burda Media. In Traunreut, selected vintage prints by Heide Stolz complement the presentation of the collection at Uwe Lausen. Both exhibitions can be seen until mid-September.
To complement the exhibitions in Munich and Traunreut, Dr. Maria Schindelegger, museum director of DASMAXIMUM Traunreut, will be giving a guided tour of the presentation of Lausen and Stolz in Traunreut on Sunday, August 18, and giving visitors the opportunity to ask any final questions. The guided tour is free of charge as part of museum admission.
