You have long wanted to get to know DASMAXIMUM, the museum for top works of international contemporary art on more than 4,300 m² - in the middle of Traunreut? "High white walls, light parquet floors and the airy splendor of exposed wooden roof trusses allow even very large formats to breathe, and many a museum would be happy with just a fraction of that," wrote the FAZ on the opening; and the editors of art magazine even chose DASMAXIMUM as one of their "definite favorite places" in Germany: "The Factory in Bavaria: country, pop and minimal art heroes in rooms flooded with light. Pure art, completely without super-teachy wall texts." The museum tour with museum director Dr. Maria Schindelegger invites visitors to take a closer look at the works of Georg Baselitz, John Chamberlain, Walter De Maria, Dan Flavin, Imi Knoebel, Uwe Lausen, Blinky Palermo, Andy Warhol and Maria Zerres, and to learn a bit about the concept and origins of the museum.
