OAK PLANTING IN HONOR OF JOSEPH BEUYS
TRAUNSTEIN, ST. MICHAEL CAMPUS
The planting was part of the “100-Day Opening” program at the St. Michael Education Campus. It took place in front of the campus’s central adobe building, a location that is uniquely suited to the concept of “social sculpture.”
After years of preparation, the stele was finally erected and the tree planted in Traunstein.
In addition to the participants, Johannes StĂĽttgen was also present; in a subsequent lecture on the work of Joseph Beuys, he provided a more in-depth explanation of the connections.
