Heiner Friedrich, legendary patron of the arts and founder of the museum DASMAXIMUM in Traunreut turns 85. DASMAXIMUM celebrates this occasion with an anniversary weekend on April 15 and 16, 2023. With free admission, visitors can expect an extensive supporting program in addition to the permanent exhibition with highlights of international contemporary art.

Since 2015, DASMAXIMUM KunstGegenwart in Traunreut has been running the project "Oak plantings in honour of Joseph Beuys" to commemorate this idea of Beuys. Based on this project, the museum has now developed a 3-module workshop offer for schoolchildren that aims to create an awareness of social responsibility.

The days are getting longer again, the light is slowly returning. As a daylight museum, DASMAXIMUM in Traunreut goes on winter break during the darkest season of the year. Now the time has come again: the first weekend in February marks the start of the new museum season.
