This coming Saturday, 26 March, at 2:30 pm, the DASMAXIMUM museum in Traunreut is offering an KunstBegegnung for children. While the parents have time to explore the museum, the children will dive deep into Imi Knoebel's world of colours with a museum employee. They will discover that there is not just one red, yellow or blue, but an infinite number of variations and gradations. Imi Knoebel creates many of his pictures using coloured bars alone. How can feelings or concepts such as happy, order or chaos be represented with them?

With the KunstBegegnung for Children, DASMAXIMUM wants to give children their first access to modern art, independent of school activities. The focus is on experiencing, observing and discovering the works of art.

The offer is primarily aimed at children aged 8-12 years and lasts approx. 1 hour. Interested parents and their children can register directly at the museum ticket office on the day of the event or in advance by email/phone. The number of participants is limited. The offer is free of charge.
