Short tour on the occasion of Palermo's birthday

On June 2, 1943 - 80 years ago - Peter Heisterkamp - his civil name - was born in Leipzig. He later called himself Blinky Palermo, studied with Imi Knoebel in Düsseldorf with Joseph Beuys, among others, and today is probably one of the most important post-war artists in the world. The artist died at the age of 33, but his art remained.
The approximately 30 works in DASMAXIMUM provide an overview of Palermo's short creative period, including significant contributions from the areas of painting on canvas, objects, fabric paintings, drawings, metal paintings and prints. Almost all of them were once part of those 12 exhibitions and numerous editions with which Galerie Heiner Friedrich drew attention to the young artist as early as 1966 in Munich, Cologne and New York.
On the occasion of Palermo's birthday, a short public tour of the artist will take place on Saturday, June 3 at 2 pm.
We look forward to receiving your registration at - but spontaneous participation is also possible.
Participation in the tour is free of charge.
