Call for applications: Registration for school classes for the ZukunftsAtelier 2024/2025 now open
The ZukunftsAtelier 2024/2025, inspired by the ideas of the world-famous German artist Joseph Beuys, motivates pupils to work together on a project for a more sustainable and fairer world. Interested teachers and school classes can now register again.
ZukunftsAtelier 2024 - interim status
The 2023/2024 school year is over - the ZukunftsAtelier 2024 not quite yet. Three out of four school classes have already taken part: Hertzhaimer Gymnasium Trostberg, Schule Schloss Stein and Johannes Haidenhein Gymnasium Traunreut have each already tackled one topic, launched initiatives, visualized their concerns and made their mark. In September, we are looking forward to welcoming the Montessori technical secondary school from Munich, which will round off this year's project run. However, a short interim report is already available.
A week of kunstBEWEGT at DASMAXIMUM - a look back
A total of 140 participants brought plenty of movement to DASMAXIMUM in the week from July 15 to 18. The new kunstBEWEGT project is aimed at people with and without inclusion needs of all ages and invites groups from social and educational institutions to get to know the art at DASMAXIMUM in a completely new way. The project premiered with artworks by minimalist artist Imi Knoebel and the response from everyone involved exceeded expectations.
Review: Center of Reaction - Heide Stolz and Uwe Lausen
On Wednesday, July 3, 2024, numerous guests celebrated the opening of the exhibition "Center of Reaction" at the Hubert Burda Media publishing house in Munich. A lecture on the artist couple by art historian and curator Dr. Selima Niggl, moderated by Mon Muellerschoen, curator of the Hubert Burda Media Collection, rounded off the evening.
Center of reaction - Uwe Lausen and Heide Stolz
On May 4 and 5, 2024, an exhibition and lecture series will kick off in Traunreut, focusing on the work of the artist couple Uwe Lausen and Heide Stolz. A presentation of selected photographs by Heide Stolz in the Lausen Hall of the DASMAXIMUM museum and a lecture by Dr. Selima Niggl this weekend will mark the start of a collaboration with Hubert Burda Media in Munich, where works by the two artists will also be on display from July.
New inclusive project: kunstBEWEGT
Social institutions and schools take note: register now for our new inclusive education format "kunstBEWEGT" (July 15-18, 2024). kunstBEWEGT is an art education program at DASMAXIMUM that is aimed at people with and without inclusion needs.
Start of the ZukunftsAtelier 2024
New museum season - new ZukunftsAtelier. On Tuesday, February 27, the first school class to take part in this year's project came to DASMAXIMUM with their teacher Jana Mehler from Hertzhaimer Gymnasium in Trostberg to design their own "social sculpture" based on the Beuysian principle.

For the second time, students from Chiemgau and Munich had the chance to develop and implement a project for a better future as part of the FutureAtelier at DASMAXIMUM. The ZukunftsAtelier 2023, inspired by the visionary ideas of the artist Joseph Beuys, became a platform where young people can become loud and take social responsibility.
