WORT:BILDER

Since 2013, DASMAXIMUM has been inviting people who have little contact with art to experience poetry and art in the museum as part of the WORT:BILDER project. Inspired by the Alzheimer's Project, which was developed at New York's MoMA in collaboration with Gary Glazner, who also trained the two stage poets Pauline FĂĽg (graduate psychologist) and Henrikje Stanze (educator, Professor of Nursing Science, Bremen University of Applied Sciences), the approach has also been further developed specifically for DASMAXIMUM and its diverse visitor groups. Pauline FĂĽg and Henrikje Stanze take selected works as a starting point to transform them into words together with the visitors. Traditional and modern poems are recited, spoken together and then the visitors write their own texts or poems in a group-dynamic process. The results can be heard and seen: at a joint tour and closing party with participants, relatives and interested parties.
