WORT:BILDER

Since 2013, as part of the WORT:BILDER project, DASMAXIMUM has been inviting people to the museum who have little contact with art to experience poetry and art. Inspired by the Alzheimer's Project, which originated at New York's MoMA with the collaboration of Gary Glazner, who also trained the two stage poets Pauline Füg (graduate psychologist) and Henrikje Stanze (pedagogue, professor of nursing sciences, Bremen University of Applied Sciences), the approach was furthermore further developed specifically for DASMAXIMUM and its diverse visitor groups. In it, Pauline Füg and Henrikje Stanze take selected works as their starting point in order to transform them into words together with the visitors. Traditional and modern poems are recited, spoken together and then, in a group-dynamic process, own texts or poems are written. The results can be heard and seen: at a joint tour and closing party with participants, relatives and interested parties.
